We have to pick out the wedding garter and the wedding favors and then I think we ae finished. Could that be? I will have to double check my list to make sure. It is so easy to overlook something when you are working so hard. I am considering the wedding garter belt or the wedding bridal garter. It is hard to decide. One of my bridesmaid suggested a “garter wedding“. I don’t know what she meant by that - I can only imagine :-).

Monday, December 8th, 2008Am I the only one who loves to shop for flower girl gifts? Gosh, the thought of being able to shop for those cute gifts is something I love to do. I really enjoy weddings and all the preparation that goes along with it. Some people don’t care for it and I am not one of those people. I told the bride I would be more than happy to make the purchase. She was worried about spending a lot of money, so I told her I would do some window shopping first and report back to her. I told her I found girl ring bearer gifts, gifts for a flower girl and gifts for a ring bearer, so that covered both girls and boys. I gave her a piece of paper with a small description of what the item looked like and the price. She was thrilled. She made her selection and I bought them. It turned out just great. Then she asked how I felt about window shopping for wedding favors. I guess I did my job right - LOL 
Wonderful thank you cards
Saturday, November 29th, 2008One of my friends had there wedding not to long ago and I helped her pick out her wedding favors. The wedding went by smoothly. And at the reception she got a lot of nice gifts. I even helped her pick out the wedding thank you cards while she sent them out with a personalized thank you to each one. We had a variety of thank you cards to choose from. I never really knew how many cards for thank you are available.
Wedding Bell: There are so Many Details
Friday, November 28th, 2008Who would think for minute about the wedding bell, not me. I totally forgot until one of my friends suggested that I go to the cheap wedding bell favors store. I can’t wait to save some money. This is an opportunity for sure. Giving each guest a wedding bell favor is a great idea. I am thinking a silver wedding bell would nice for the favors. Now, I’ve finished the wedding favors and I saved money at the same time. This is great!
Up Up & Away it’s Off to the Ring Bearer Pillows
Thursday, November 27th, 2008We are heading up state to a really neat store that sells ring bearer pillows. The reason we’re going there is because they sell a nice cheap ring bearer pillow. Like everyone else we’re trying our best to save money, so hopefully this store will help. Once we arrived, we found out that we could get an even better deal if we purchased our wedding favors there at the same time - sounds like a plan to me. I had to decide between a white ring bearer pillow and a satin ring bearer pillow. Once everything was picked out and I went home to check how much I saved it came to about a 20% savings. Excellent!

She can’t wait until her big day to get all of her wedding hair accessories done. I helped her shop for the discount wedding accessories and the wedding favors.

Tuesday, October 21st, 2008An acquaintance of mine recently had her wedding. I wondered what the wedding favors would be. So many times these days, there isn’t much in the way of favors because of the cost. The wine favors she placed at everyone’s table setting sure didn’t look like cheap wine favors. I couldn’t believe it, not only a gorgeous favor but they were personalized wine favors! She must have spent a fortune. I’ll remember her wedding every time I use my wine wedding favor.
