We have to pick out the wedding garter and the wedding favors and then I think we ae finished. Could that be? I will have to double check my list to make sure. It is so easy to overlook something when you are working so hard. I am considering the wedding garter belt or the wedding bridal garter. It is hard to decide. One of my bridesmaid suggested a “garter wedding“. I don’t know what she meant by that - I can only imagine :-).

December 8th, 2008Am I the only one who loves to shop for flower girl gifts? Gosh, the thought of being able to shop for those cute gifts is something I love to do. I really enjoy weddings and all the preparation that goes along with it. Some people don’t care for it and I am not one of those people. I told the bride I would be more than happy to make the purchase. She was worried about spending a lot of money, so I told her I would do some window shopping first and report back to her. I told her I found girl ring bearer gifts, gifts for a flower girl and gifts for a ring bearer, so that covered both girls and boys. I gave her a piece of paper with a small description of what the item looked like and the price. She was thrilled. She made her selection and I bought them. It turned out just great. Then she asked how I felt about window shopping for wedding favors. I guess I did my job right - LOL

November 29th, 2008One of my friends had there wedding not to long ago and I helped her pick out her wedding favors. The wedding went by smoothly. And at the reception she got a lot of nice gifts. I even helped her pick out the wedding thank you cards while she sent them out with a personalized thank you to each one. We had a variety of thank you cards to choose from. I never really knew how many cards for thank you are available.
